Tanning and processing
Item created using whole hides. Full-grain nabucked cattle leather with thickness of 1.4/1.6 mm.Chrome tanning and re-tanning, followed by a colouring process in pure aniline. The following manufacturing stages that lead to the carrying out of the final result, are characterized by a series of special washing procedures, that end with a final “nabuk” process, given by an exclusive proprietary procedure, that gives leather a marked light/dark effect, more or less deep, according to zones. Bo.Hemian was created as a natural leather design, which enhances the hide's signs, instead of masking them. It redefines the concept of “defect”, enhancing it to testify a life of freedom and of a characteristic texture. The hide's past life, visible through its scratches, scars, wrinkles, chafes, and natural stains, characteristics of this extremely natural leather, is enhanced by special dyeing processes.

Maintenance (BOX-N)
The maintenance of a nabuck leather like Bo.Hemian doesn’t require special techniques of skilled cleaning; the only requirement is mainly the constant and periodic use of a soft brush to revive its surface and of a slightly dampened cloth to remove some possible dust from surface.
