BAXTER CELEBRATES MILAN CORTINA: WHEN DESIGN HITS THE SLOPES

Baxter pays tribute to the Milan Cortina Winter Games with a series of videos that interpret the spirit of the event through imagination and irony. Taking center stage is Nepal, the iconic armchair designed by Paola Navone, protagonist of an original story combining design and sport.

In the video production, Nepal interprets some of the symbolic disciplines of winter sports with ease and character: from the chairlift suspended between the mountains to the bobsleigh hurtling down the icy track, to the elegance of ice skating. A light yet sophisticated visual narrative, where design becomes movement, performance, and contemporary storytelling.

The project plays with the codes of sport and reinterprets them through the Baxter language, made up of cultured irony, creative freedom, and an unconventional spirit. Nepal, with its welcoming shapes and unmistakable character, is thus transformed into a dynamic icon, capable of dialoguing with the energy of the Olympics without sacrificing its own identity.

This series of videos is not only a tribute to Milano Cortina, but also a statement of vision: design can break out of its traditional boundaries, surprise, excite, and tell new stories.

Nepal on the chairlift

High altitude.
Olympic weather.
Nepal on the chairlift, calm before the descent.
Control, precision, presence.
An icon, ready to compete.

Nepal on the bobsleigh

Speed takes shape.
Power meets precision.
Nepal dives into the track, built for impact, designed to endure.
This is not just motion.
This is character.

Nepal and ice skating

Balance, control and precision define both the sport and the design.
On the ice, Nepal embodies confidence and harmony, transforming movement into form and performance into aesthetic expression.
A design icon in which nothing is superfluous and every detail finds its perfect place.
