BAXTER FOR @SUONARESTELLA AND IED: THE WINNING PROJECTS

A project that tells stories through design, focusing on life and not just furniture. "Reach for Stella," created by students Zhazira Akhmet, Ilinca Moisa, and Laura Tavera-Bobrzyk, was selected by participating companies as the winner of the "Suonare Stella" project for IED Milano.

These days, the project is taking shape at Paolo Stella’s Milanese home and in the windows of Salvioni Milano Durini, transforming spaces into a celebration of beauty, emotion, and personality. At the heart of the concept, there is a celestial theme that recalls Paolo’s last name, Stella, and one of his most significant quotes: "The stars guide us." Just like the Little Prince, the protagonist of the famous story loved by generations, Paolo Stella becomes the "Little Prince" of real life: a man who explores love, friendship, and the wonder of life, sharing his light with everyone around him.

"Reach for Stella" celebrates Paolo's identity, his love for himself and for what inspires him, creating a cycle of love that begins and returns. It is a space of mental peace and clarity, where calm becomes a state of mind.

The project reflects this vision through a skillful mix of vibrant colors and neutral tones, creating a welcoming and comforting environment. Among the highlights of the space are Baxter's AURA sofa from the 2024 collection, along with the elegant STIG chairs, the iconic LIBELLE bookshelf, and the PARSEC writing desk. Baxter is proud to be part of a project that celebrates young people and design as a means of storytelling. A special thanks to all the participating students, IED, and Salvioni Design Solutions.

COMPANY AWARD: INVISIBLE

Following the selection of the winning project of the "Suonare Stella per IED" contest, which these days will see a restyling of Paolo Stella’s Milanese home, each company has chosen its winning project. Baxter decided to award "Invisible," the project designed by students Atzeni Roberta, Balestrazzi Rebecca, and Teruzzi Micaela. "Invisible" is a work that perfectly embodies the philosophy of hospitality and uniqueness, transforming every environment into an authentic and personal space.

"Invisible" is a project that celebrates the value of imperfections, unique characteristics that make each piece of furniture and every home special. Thanks to the skillful combination of the best qualities of the companies involved, the project expresses authenticity and sophistication, creating a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. The central element of the project includes some of the most iconic pieces of Baxter's collection. These include the SORRENTO armchair and the BUDAPEST SOFT sofa, designed by the eclectic Paola Navone, the ANAIS pouf, and the iconic LIBELLE bookshelf. These elements, perfectly integrated into the concept, highlight balance and design coherence while ensuring strong aesthetic and functional impact. "Invisible" was selected not only for its ability to enhance products within the space but also for the concept that highlights uniqueness, a value that lies at the core of Baxter's philosophy. Baxter thanks all the students of IED Milan who participated, presenting projects full of brilliant and innovative ideas. The creativity and commitment demonstrated continue to be a source of inspiration for the entire world of design.
