The project comes to life through creative reuse: students from two classes within the Design Department, under the supervision of their professors, were invited to reinterpret the concept of uniqueness starting from discarded materials.The winning project, conceived by Nicolò, gave rise to an exclusive Moleskine, created using a handcrafted stamp assembled from Baxter leather scraps. Dipped in color and manually pressed onto the cover, the stamp generates ever-changing textures, transforming each notebook into a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.

Within this process, the imperfection of the material becomes value: a visible trace of a conscious design gesture, capable of restoring dignity to discarded materials and expressing a different idea of luxury—one rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and experimentation.

This special edition officially becomes part of the Baxter leather Moleskine collection, which the brand signs each year as an expression of its ongoing dialogue with the world of design and contemporary creativity.

The project is part of the Baxter for Students program, the initiative dedicated to collaboration with young design talents, reaffirming the company’s commitment to supporting education, research, and a new generation of designers.
