Villa San Martino, Albenga | Italy
COMPLETED IN 2025, THE INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT FOR VILLA SAN MARTINO BY PAVIA & PAVIA INTERNATIONAL DESIGN REPRESENTS THE LATEST CHAPTER IN AN ARCHITECTURAL STORY SPANNING CENTURIES.
Within the former San Martino Abbey, different eras overlap and engage in dialogue, from the medieval foundations of the Benedictine monastery to the most recent conservation restoration.

The design approach takes shape as a contemporary writing, aware of the text that precedes it and capable of adding a new paragraph to the narrative without interrupting its continuity.
Baxter products blend naturally into the historic architecture of the residence, neither camouflaging themselves nor creating contrast.

The Baxter story begins at the entrance, where the space is defined by the generous volumes of the MILANO leather armchairs, paired with the LOREN metal coffee table, which characterizes the setting with its natural-effect tones.
On the wall, the modular LIBELLE bookcase expresses Baxter’s philosophy in the pursuit of scenic design capable of capturing the gaze instantly.

In the dining room, GEMMA leather chairs are arranged around the ROMEO STONE marble table, the room’s protagonist with its solid and bold aesthetic.
Along the walls, the suspended ALTEA console and the PLISSÉ leather-clad cabinet complete the space.

Outdoors, the ISAMU STONE marble table engages in dialogue with the HIMBA solid wood chairs, creating a refined interplay of contrasts in natural tones.
