Brutalist Villa – Ella Valley, Israel
A BRUTALIST ICON SUSPENDED BETWEEN SKY AND VINEYARDS.
DISCOVER BAXTER INTERIORS IN A BRUTALIST VILLA NESTLED IN THE GREEN HEART OF ELLA VALLEY, DESIGNED BY HENKIN SHAVIT STUDIO.
This monolithic concrete architecture rises like a sculpture suspended between nature and geometry, among the hills of the so-called “Israeli Tuscany.”
This monolithic concrete architecture rises like a sculpture suspended between nature and geometry, among the hills of the so-called “Israeli Tuscany.”

Designed for a family with three children, the villa spans 340 m² and stands out for its expressive strength paired with refined design sensitivity. The brutalist style is reinterpreted with a contemporary spirit: large glass openings frame the panoramic views, while the structure closes protectively toward neighboring houses, ensuring privacy and introspection.

At the heart of the home lies a bright, essential living area, where the VIKTOR sofa by Baxter in smoked grey leather fits in with effortless elegance. A piece that dialogues with raw, authentic materials—concrete, steel, and glass—and with light, the true protagonist of the space.

The visual narrative flows through a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior: the stainless steel kitchen, crafted in two tones, overlooks a hydraulic pool framed in granite and a flowerless Mediterranean garden planted with mango, eucalyptus, and carob trees. A suspended walkway at the rear invites contemplation and becomes an unexpected meeting point between nature and architecture.

Every detail—from custom furnishings to the positioning of windows, from materials to the play of light—tells a story of sophisticated living, where architecture becomes a sensory and everyday experience.
