The Tactile armchair and quilted sofa collection showcases the tangible properties of leather with a statuesque design that gives the products a museum-like appearance and underlines Vincenzo De Cotiis' close attention to detail. Like sculptures with enveloping lines, the armchair and sofa are deconstructed, broken down into their constituent parts to form separate components that dialogue in a balanced combination of volumes. The seat and backrest therefore become independent elements, only touching each other where stability is required and further differentiated by the double quilting. A decoration that emphasises the majesty and uniqueness of the individual piece which, taking centre stage, elevates the style and personality of any space.
