River Nelson
Tanning and processing
Carried out on full-grain whole bovine leathers with a noticeable thickness (2.0/2.2 mm), this article is chrome tanned, dyed in seeping aniline and finally protected with water-and oil-resistant products. River leathers get their typical smooth matt aspect after the laying of particular waxes in different phases, that are then shifted in special dried barrels, showing all coat’s past life, such as veins and zones of natural light/dark.
Maintenance (BOX-C)
If you notice on surface some slight scratches or abrasions, typical of waxed leathers, you can intervene on them using a soft dry cloth. By scouring lightly on the part to treat, actually, it is possible to restore the leather’s original aspect.
