Old England

Tanning and processing
Old England is carried out on full-grain half hides of noticeable thickness (2.0/2.2 mm) and undergoes a first process of 100% vegetable tanning. In the following dying phase, inside a barrel, the addition of a mixture of waxes gives leather an aspect that allows Baxter’s skilful craftsmen to act on the finished product. Their action gives the finished product a well-worn aspect, that can be attenuated or marked according to customer’s request. An intense brown colour is the only shade that characterizes this leather. Considering the kind of breeding, the presence of scratches, scars, wrinkles, thorn marks and natural stains, has to be tolerated and accepted, as characteristics of this extremely natural leather.

Maintenance (BOX-V)
For this leather you don’t need particular maintenance treatments, it is enough to wipe the whole leather surface with a simple cloth, woollen if possible.
