The most attended fair of Milan comes back with a new edition: it’s the International Furniture Fair and it’s a unique experience. For the year 2016, Baxter has presented a new work, capable of synthetizing research on one side and innovative thinking on the other: the result is a project that takes inspiration from the ‘70s without forgetting the Brand most recent artistic influences. The upholstered colors choose the hues trending in the ‘70s together with a modern twist: maroon, rust, moss-green, cement-grey and blue-navy are the nuances that characterize both the soft and the polished saddle leathers.
Not a mere jump in the past, though: Baxter makes also a step towards the future by presenting the first exhaustive outdoor project. Three design lines cross the new collection: the items made of copper and special leathers, the minimal interpretation made of iron and natural-toned leather; the precious details of aluminum mixed together with resin, concrete and rattan products. The result, in each of the three scenarios, translates into unique items that respect the past and move towards the future, also thanks to the study and the experimentation on leather, on stones and on marbles.
The new projects have been entrusted to the many designers that have been co-working with Baxter for a long time: Paola Navone, Draga Obradovic and Aurel K. Basedow, Roberto Lazzeroni, Antonino Sciortino, Pietro Russo and Baxter’s Style Department.
