“Al Posto Suo” is the first Baxter-branded short film. It deals with a brilliant comedy of errors carried out for Baxter by Officine, in collaboration with Elle Decor Italia and thanks to the great hospitality of the Arch. Luca Bombassei. Pia Engleberth, Martina De Santis, Paolo Briguglia and Dalia Bucur are the main characters of the short film, set in the elegant apartment of the art collector Luca Bombassei, where the Tactile sofa by Vincenzo De Cotiis becomes the absolute main character. A sofa that defines the museum aspect of the item and underlines the peculiar attention towards details, where seat and back become two independent elements that graze just in those points that are necessary for stability. “OffiCine – fare e cinema” is a cultural project, born in 2010 from the union of Anteo spazioCinema and Istituto Europeo di Design, with the aim of moving a wide and mixed public towards the world of cinema, through differentiated and dedicated courses. Training is one of the privileged instruments: a particular educational system that makes OffiCine not a cinema school, but rather a Laboratory of continuous experimentation. Thanks to scholarships offered by companies, organizations and institutions, small troupes of young talented people devote themselves to the carrying out of short films, from writing to direction, from editing to after-production, under Silvio Soldini‘s artistic supervision. “Since when we have opened the new showroom in Milan in the historic location of the old “Cinema President”, the link between the brand and the cinema has become extremely strong. Therefore it has been natural for us to support this project and young Italian talented people”, tells Paolo Bestetti, Baxter’s CEO. “Video communication is far more effective than photos — towards which we have always been dedicating particular attention — in conveying deep emotions, which is and has always been one of the aims of our projects, fitting-out and communication strategies”.
